Fluoroscopy – Fluoroscopy is a type of real-time X-ray imaging that allows the radiologist to view internal structures and movement as they occur. A contrast material may be used to make the area being examined easier to see.
Fluoroscopy may be used to evaluate parts of the digestive system or to guide minimally invasive procedures. It can also assist with arthrography, in which contrast material is placed into a joint to help evaluate its internal structures.
